The first single from Craig’s fifth studio album “Signed Sealed Delivered” is “One More Lie (Standing In The Shadows)”. It will be released in the UK on 15 March 2010, with the album following one week later on 22 March 2010.

It is strongly rumoured that he will be demoing new material as support for Brand New at Wembley Stadium in London on January 23rd 2010. Initially Craig was confirmed, however there have been some doubts as to whether he is prepared for this show and as of the Monday before the gig, it is still not know for certain if Craig will play. It does seem likely though.

On 1 October 2009, Coldplay announced another “Latin America Tour” to take place in February and March of 2010, in which they will visit countries such as Mexico, Argentina, Brazil and Colombia. Later that same month, Coldplay won Song of the Year for “Viva la Vida” at The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) Awards in London.

Since April 2009, Coldplay has been recording their fifth studio album. The band reportedly are working with Brian Eno again. In December 2009 it was reported that the band have been recording in a North London church. The album is slated for release sometime in 2010.

Aiken attended Raleigh’s Leesville Road High School and took courses at Campbell University before enrolling at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He found his interest in special education while directing YMCA children’s camps as a teenager, and at age 19, he served as a substitute teacher for a classroom of students with autism at Brentwood Elementary School in Raleigh. While attending college in Charlotte, he took a part-time job as an assistant to a boy with autism, and it was this child’s mother, Diane Bubel, who urged him to audition for American Idol. Although his American Idol activities temporarily delayed his academic pursuits, Aiken completed his course work while on tour and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in special education in December 2003.

On August 8, 2008 Aiken announced, on his personal blog, the birth of his son in North Carolina: “My dear friend, Jaymes, and I are so excited to announce the birth of Parker Foster Aiken” The child’s mother, Jaymes Foster, is the sister of record producer David Foster and the executive producer of Aiken’s last three albums on the RCA label. “The little man is healthy, happy, and as loud as his daddy,” Aiken wrote. “Mama Jaymes is doing quite well also.” Aiken said in his book, Learning to Sing: Hearing the Music in Your Life, that “It’s a Southern tradition to be given your first name from your grandmama’s maiden name.” His middle name came from his paternal grandmother’s maiden name; using instead the married surnames of their mothers, he and Foster followed that tradition in choosing their son’s name.

After several years of public speculation, Aiken confirmed that he is gay in a September 2008 interview with People magazine. In April 2009, Aiken was honored by the Family Equality Council advocacy group at their annual benefit dinner in New York City.

On September 28, 2009, it was revealed the Ciara was well into production of her fourth studio album. In an interview with Rap-Up, Tricky Stewart announced that he and production partner The-Dream had spent the summer recording exclusively with Ciara, and that they would be executive-producing the whole album along with Ciara. When asked about the direction of the album, Stewart stated, “this record obviously is gonna have tempo to it, but I think it’s gonna have even more substance than the last record”. When asked to describe the sound of the album Stewart said “It’s just her returning back to her strongest form. It’s gonna be Ciara at her best. It’s gonna be indicative of how much people love that first album [Goodies] and how people love “Promise” and other records when she’s had those really serious connections.” The trio, at that time, had already completed around 14 songs for the project, and while the album was first targeted for a 2009 release, it will now be slated for early 2010 to avoid rushing the album-making process. On December 1, 2009, it was announced that Ciara is also working with Darkchild. On December 9, 2009, Ciara talked more to MTV News about the upcoming album, saying that the album will be very hot and that she’s working very hard to give her fans what they want and more. Ciara also said that she will be touching on her Goodies roots with the new album.

In 2008 Aguilera was featured on the soundtrack to the film, Shine a Light, from a live recording of the song “Live With Me” with the Rolling Stones. The film’s soundtrack was released on April 1, 2008. To commemorate Aguilera’s ten years in the music industry, RCA Records released, Keeps Gettin’ Better: A Decade of Hits on November 11, 2008 exclusively at Target stores in the US. The greatest hits included her first three number one singles, and other songs released from her previous three albums. “Lady Marmalade” and several Spanish singles from Mi Reflejo were included in the worldwide releases. The album’s lead single, “Keeps Gettin’ Better” was premiered at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards. The song debuted and peaked at number 7 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it her highest debut on the chart. Aguilera was one of Billboard’s Top 20 Artists of the Decade in their year-end charts.

Australian singer-songwriter Sia, was one of the first of confirmed producers for her forthcoming album, titled Bionic. The previous year she launched her online radio station which is part of Clear Channel’s iheartradio revealing details about her upcoming projects. There she revealed that she worked with M.I.A., Santigold and Ladytron adding, “The overall versatility of this record is truly something special for me. The result was just crazy magic. There truly is something for everyone to enjoy on the record.” She also worked with Goldfrapp and Tricky Stewart who revealed that the album is finished adding, “She’s mixing it up again. She’s singing R&B again, she’s doing pop. She’s doing it all, but she’s found a way to make it all meet in the middle because she’s so many different things. She’s a real serious musician. Aguilera hosted a New Year’s Eve party at Tao Restaurant in Las Vegas and confirmed that the album will be released in March 2010.

Biography of  Alexander Klaws

Early life

Alexander had a typical childhood growing up in Sendenhorst, Germany with his parents Richard and Hildegard and older sister Melanie (born 1980). He was an avid soccer player, and still plays soccer on charity teams whenever he finds the time. Alexander’s musical gifts became apparent when he was still in elementary school. He made his first television appearance at the age of 10, performing Haddaway’s “What Is Love” on a national TV show for children. By the time he was 13, Alexander was already taking vocal and piano lessons to strengthen his voice.

Career

In 2002 Klaws participated in the first season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar. Although he was seen as one of the more inconspicuous finalists at the very beginning of the show, he was able to boost his popularity constantly with standout performances of Robbie Williams’ “Angels” or Michael Sembello’s “Maniac”. In the end he beat out runner-up Juliette Schoppmann. He earned 70.1 percent of the vote. This record would stand until 2007 when Mark Medlock gained 78.02 percent of the vote in the finale of the 4th season. Alexander is also one of the two DSDS winners to have never been in the bottom three.

Air Supply are a soft rock duo who had a succession of hits worldwide through the late 1970s and early 1980s. It consists of British guitarist and vocalist Graham Russell (born Graham Cyril Russell, 11 June 1950, Sherwood, Nottingham, England, UK) and Australian lead vocalist Russell Hitchcock (born Russell Charles Hitchcock, 15 June 1949, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia), plus various accompanying musicians and singers as they hire from time-to-time to augment their sounds.

2000s

They continued to tour heavily throughout Asia and in select venues in the U.S. as well as record into the new millennium, releasing the more adult contemporary-titled The Book of Love (1997), Yours Truly (2001), and Across the Concrete Sky (2003). In 2005 they once again released a live CD/DVD recording; also in 2005 they performed in Havana, Cuba, becoming one of the first foreign bands invited to perform in the country. They were booked to perform two concerts, and played the first show on July 7, the day before Hurricane Dennis hit the country. In high winds their first concert had an audience of 175,000. Due to the hurricane they could not play the second show. Fans staying at the same hotel as Air Supply on July 8 had to be content with Graham performing acoustically for them, as there was no electricity.

Their songs were featured in Mr. and Mrs. Smith and The Wedding Date.

In 2006 they released an acoustic album, The Singer and the Song, and are gearing up for the release of their first studio album in three years, Zed. In support of the acoustic album they made their first trip to India in May 2006. December 2, 2006 saw the duo perform to a capacity crowd in Kingston, Jamaica. This was their second visit to Jamaica, having performed at the Air Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival in January 2006. They also have been seen endorsing Time–Life’s Classic Soft-Rock Collection. In 2007, Graham Russell released his first adult contemporary solo album called The Future.

Russell recently made an appearance in Believe, a comedy about Multi-Level Marketing.

In 2008, Air Supply was named as the number 83 best musical act of all time in the Billboard Hot 100’s 50 year anniversary edition. This was based purely on their performance on the charts.

They appeared on the December 19, 2008, edition of Don’t Forget the Lyrics.

A new album is scheduled for early 2010.
